We would like to welcome your family to Revealing Truth Ministries Preschool - VPK program. As we build a partnership, your child will experience an enriching and rewarding school year. Our objectives are to help better prepare your child for kindergarten emotionally, socially, and academically in a positive and nurturing environment.
We will focus on…
Writing and recognition of capital and lower case letters
Shapes, colors, number recognition, and basic arithmetic
Spelling and writing first and last names
Phonics and beginners reading
Patterns and sequencing
Problem solving
Basic Science
Basic Spanish
In addition to these academic concepts, we use learning centers and circle time to strengthen listening skills and socially acceptable behavior, such as sharing, taking turns, trading. We facilitate learning experiences to promote the development of fine and gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and visual perception.
We will conduct assessments in the fall and spring so as a team we can keep track of your child’s progress. We will have regular parent-teacher conferences to address strengths and weaknesses and formulate concrete plans to move your child forward. We will send home progress reports and report cards to further assist you in keeping track of our progress throughout the year. This will also give you a chance to see what skills your child could benefit from working at home as well as in school.
